StarTrek Continuum: Introduction

StarTrek Continuum

Greetings everyone!

Thank you deeply for your interest.

If you look at the list on the left of this blog entry, you will see a list of items with their corresponding links.  Simply click the green link (if it has one) to see that item.  All information needed will be provided in the initial blog when viewed.

There are three types of entries.  [In Character] [Out of Character] and [Real Life].

When you see:
Allowed Content: [IC] [OOC] [RL]

Then all three are allowed in that particular section.  If only two or one are present,  then only the one's listed are allowed there.  Please respect everyone else and keep this guide line.  Generally the only place worth posting [RL] comments is [Starbase 24].

Please take some special time to view these seven (7) easy rules before you begin posting in this blog.  Any violations of these simple rules will result in a return of disappointment and a reprimand on your character's permanent record for all to witness (assuming you plan on staying after the infraction, otherwise it won't matter anyway and you will simply be removed from the site.  Sacrificing all your hard work in a single go).

[Posting Rules and Regulations] [view]

Simple Rundown: Each ship (and every other aspect) has it's own blog entry.  All senior staff will RolePlay using the comments on their own ship's blog. (Read the posting rules please).  Anywhere else you are able and willing to post will be welcomed.  Example:  If you are assigned to the USS Solaris, then you would click the [view] link next to your ship in the list to the left, read through the initial post with vessel information, read through what RolePlay comments are already there, then post your own RolePlay comments when necessary.

When posting a RolePlay comment or (RPC), simply write what ever you wish others to read about what your character is saying, thinking or acting out.  Be as creative as you wish.  If you need or desire someone specific's attention (such as asking the captain the question: "What heading should I set sir?") simply write [tag captain] or [tag (captain's name)].

---------------------------

Example:
The crewman was bewildered.  Just what was the captain planning?  He thought for a split second and said, "What heading should I set sir?"

[tag captain]

---------------------------

This gives the character playing the captain time to respond with whatever he/she desires.

PLEASE be [patient].  Let everyone have a chance to respond.  Everyone desires a piece of the action, and there's plenty to go around so leave the rushing for the Colorado River.

Other than that, have fun, enjoy, pull out your creativity and RPC.

Let's Star Trek!
